Kara Edworthy, owner and baker
My name is Kara Edworthy, owner and baker behind Red Barn Bakery, which opened in 2026 after moving to a beautiful country farmhouse property in Hamilton, Ontario.
Baking and cooking have been my passion for as long as I can remember. I bring over 15 years of experience working in professional kitchens and bakeries. I graduated from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, with a Chef Training Certificate and a Diploma in Culinary Management, and have been working in the culinary industry ever since.
Red Barn Bakery was created from a love of bringing people together through fresh, delicious, homemade food. I take pride in creating baked goods, desserts and pastries made with care, quality ingredients and a whole lot of heart.
Operating out of a fully licensed, Public Health-inspected kitchen, my goal is to bring a little taste of homemade goodness to every customer, whether it's a fresh-baked cookie, a delicious pastry or something special made just for you.
